Nuria y Ronny, de Barcelona, corrieron aquí por primera vez y comparaban el Medio Maratón Valencia con la Behobia-San Sebastián, dos pruebas que se encuentran entre las mejores del país en la distancia y están recogidas en el Circuito de Running Plátano de Canarias. Quizá se asemejen en sus 63 puntos de animación. Quizá, en la lluvia que no pudo frenar el ímpetu de los 25.000 corredores en línea de salida. Lo que ambos tienen claro es que quieren repetir en Valencia... “pero con sol”. “We were told it's one of the best races in Spain because of the cheering crowds... and it's flat”. Nuria and Ronny, from Barcelona, ran here for the first time and compared the Valencia Half Marathon with the Behobia-San Sebastián, two races that are among the best in the country at this distance and are part of the Plátano de Canarias Running Circuit. Perhaps they are similar as they both have 63 cheering points. Perhaps because of the rain, which could not dampen the enthusiasm of the 25,000 runners who lined up at the start. Something they are both clear about is that they want to run again in Valencia? “but in the sunshine”.
