Esa es la fórmula de la acción que la Z Zurich Foundation puso en marcha en España en 2023 con el objetivo de contribuir en el desarrollo de la solidaridad en las diferentes pruebas de running que patrocina en el país. Desde entonces, el objetivo es destinar hasta 750.000 euros a diferentes entidades sin ánimo de lucro durante un período de tres años desde el lanzamiento de la campaña. Y como 26.077 corredores cruzaron el arco de meta del Medio Maratón Valencia, 26.077 euros fueron donados a la entidad solidaria de esta edición. La suma con la aportación de los inscritos arroja la cifra récord de recaudación total. Cada carrera con presencia de Zurich acoge una causa benéfica y este fue el tercer año en que la acción se implementó este medio maratón. Plusmarca para la historia.
