Ningún homenaje es suficiente, así que Leandro, Paco y José corren siempre con la Senyera. En realidad, lo hacen ellos y todos los miembros de su club. La bandera de la Comunitat Valenciana no solo recorre las calles de la Ciudad del Running o carreras de sus alrededores, sino que también lo hace en otros puntos del país y en el extranjero. Estos tres amigos, además, son de Alaquàs, una de las localidades afectadas por el temporal. Tienen muy presente aquel sufrimiento. Por eso, para ellos el Medio Maratón Valencia, con o sin lluvia, parecía pan comido.
