Since then, he says, he cannot imagine a day without it. Running is part of his life, as it is for the woman who would one day become his wife. They run together, but she wriggled out of having her photo taken as she was soaked after an epic finish to the race. They still enjoy running together as a couple. Every race, every finish line, every training session. “I dedicate all my races to her”, he proudly declared. And there have been quite a few. A true romantic when it comes to running. “Valencia deserves the title Ciudad del Running because of its hospitality, organisation, enthusiasm... it’s amazing”.
