96 A finisher's paradise exists Runner's heaven. The Garden of Eden for the 30,777 finishers. An entire city awoke in paradise, exuberant after another historic marathon. The Valencia Marathon Trinidad Alfonso Zurich did not end at the finish line in the City of Arts and Sciences, nor at the 42K Medal Party on Sunday evening. In fact, it didn't even end on Sunday. Valencia continued to be decked out for its marathon, and in the days following the race, some restaurants, shops, and museums in the city offered discounts and special promotions for finishers. Museums including the Hortensia Herrero Art Centre, the Science Museum, l'Hemisfèric and the Oceanogràfic; shops including Valencia Basket at the Roig Arena and New Balance on Calle Colón; restaurants and cafés including Lamburguesa, Paffuto, Momiji, Veneno House, Sukie Cookie, Saint Anthony’s Irish Pub, Sporcks and Green Turia Coffee & Run; and even free tickets for The Red Bus were all stops on the Valencia Marathon Finisher’s Paradise route.
