106 You're movin' with your auntie and uncle in Valencia! Con tu tío y con tu tía irás a Valencia Sebastian es de París y es alto. Muy alto. Altísimo. Jugaba al basket con amigos y unos tipos del barrio le metieron en un lío: correr el Maratón Valencia. “Con tu tío y con tu tía irás a Valencia”, le debieron decir. El caso es que vino y corrió en menos de tres horas. “Sé que ser tan alto no es una ventaja en maratón”, decía entre risas. Y es que la historia de Sebastian es la de tantos y tantos runners en el mundo: su trabajo le quitaba demasiado tiempo y tuvo que dejar su deporte, el baloncesto. Entonces empezó a correr. “Es más fácil para encajarlo en mi vida”, comentaba. Ahora madruga para entrenar, en solitario o acompañado, y para desconectar. Y de ahí… a correr maratones. La fiebre del running llega al oeste de Filadelfia. Y a París, y a Valencia… Sebastian is from Paris and he's tall. Really tall. A giant. He was playing basketball with friends and some lads from the neighbourhood when they got him involved in running the Valencia Marathon. “You're goin' to Valencia with your auntie and uncle”, they must have said to him. The fact is that he came and finished in less than three hours. “I know being so tall isn't an advantage in marathons”, he said with a laugh. Sebastian's story is the same as that of many runners from around the world: his job took up too much of his time and he had to give up his sport, basketball. Then he started running. “It's easier to fit it into my life”, he said. Now he gets up early to train, either alone or with others, and to get away from it all. And from there... to running marathons. The running craze has reached West Philadelphia. And Paris, and Valencia…
