Este último es el más mayor de todos y también el que más maratones acumula en sus piernas: 18. Y le faltaba Valencia. Ya le estábamos poniendo falta, porque un maratoniano cómo él no podía no haber corrido en la Ciudad del Running. Quizá por eso, Sergio, el corredor de la foto con gorra negra –hacia atrás, con el espíritu más joven de todo su grupo a pesar de ser el más veterano–, invitó a sus amigos al Maratón Valencia. Así, tal cual lo leéis. Les invitó a viajar desde la otra punta del mundo con una condición: correr “despacito”, todos juntos, para cruzar la meta de la mano. Vaya regalo. Perhaps that is why Sergio, the one in the photo wearing his black cap on backwards, who is the youngest spirit of his entire group despite being the most experienced, paid for his friends to join him in the Valencia Marathon.
